Dangerous substances in luggage

Dangerous substances that are prohibited in carry-on baggage and registered:

  • Explosives (ammunition, pyrotechnic devices);
  • Gaseous (gas bottles) that are under pressure, liquid, or freeze;
  • Flammable solid materials, materials subject to spontaneous combustion, substances which in contact with water releases flammable gases (eg lakovi, color, razređivači);
  • Corrosive materials and liquids (eg, wet batteries, living – as an integral part of equipment or instruments);
  • Poisons (eg pesticides), infectious substances, substances that can endanger the environment;
  • Devices / equipment that works on batteries, if batteries are not particularly odspojene and packaged;
  • On the lighter charge and cartridges with liquid that is not absorbuje (except those with liquefied gas), fuel cartridges and carry lighters, lighter on the gas and matches can be used only in the pockets of clothing as part of the passenger carries on it;

Dangerous substances that are prohibited in carry-on baggage and registered but are permitted in registered baggage.

  • Toys in the form of weapons and replicas of weapons;
  • Knives of any length and any material (including metal turpijice nail);
  • Little scissors of any size;
  • Metal cutlery;
  • Corkscrew;
  • Sport bbejzbol, golf sticks and similar;
  • Any other subject that can be used for the infliction of injuries.

New security rules at airports

Information for travelers about the new security measures

On the basis of the Conclusions of the Committee for carrying out work related to the security of civil aviation of the Republic of Serbia, in order to fulfilling the recommendations of international civil aviation organization (ICAO) Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Serbia adopted the restrictions and conditions allowed for the transfer of liquids, gels and aerosols in hand baggage and the way performance of the security hand luggage review.
The restrictions come into force on 10.03.2007. and applied in order to prevent possible terrorist activities in the civil aviation use of explosives in the liquid state. Restrictions apply to all passengers who begin the journey and the transfer from the airport in the Republic of Serbia.

Liquid product is considered to be the following products:

  • Water and other drinks, soups and syrups;
  • Perfumes,
  • Mascara, sprays, creams, lotion and oil;
  • Gels, including hair gels and tuširanje;
  • Pastes, including toothpaste;
  • Items that are in the bottle under pressure, including shaving cream, deodorant and other foams;
  • Other items related to density, firmness and consistency.

Obligations of passengers

Method of packaging

  • Container in which the liquid, gel or aerosol must be maximum volume 100ml;
  • Containers must be packaged in a transparent plastic bag that can close the bolt with the groove or zip fastener;
  • Bag which are packaged in containers with liquids, gels and aerosol must be the maximum dimension of 20×20 cm and maximum volume 1l;
  • Bag which are packaged in containers with liquids, gels and aerosol must be closed and that the security point of views before apart from other hand luggage;
  • One passenger may have a maximum of one bag, the prescribed dimensions, with liquids, gels and aerosol.
  • Bags for packaging of liquids will be available at airports in Serbia, the first 30 days free, then passengers will have to buy them.

Notwithstanding the permit:

  • The transfer of liquids, gels and aerosols purchased in the duty free shop in the security-zone restriktivnoj airport, which are packaged in a transparent bag, which is sealed and can not be otvarana to the final destination. In the bag, sealed in the duty free shop in, must be the fiscal account for purchases only from the date on travel;
  • The transfer of passengers with babies baby food in liquid or mushy state and in the appropriate amount of milk depending on the length of the flight;
  • The transfer of drugs in the form of liquids, gels or aerosols that passengers use only with doctor’s issued by the competent medical institution or an authorized medical clinics;
  • The transfer of medical preparations such as insulin, blood plasma, etc.. passengers only if you have confirmation of the competent medical institution or an authorized medical clinics.
  • All cables with electric devices (notebook computers, digital cameras, cameras, etc..) Must be distinguished from hand luggage to be made by the review.

In case the passenger nonobservant this procedure, contents will be paralyzed .
